Hello! Long time no see…
Today, it’s not about cooking and recipe things, but I’m going to tell you guys my first experience in computer class.
I didn’t really like it at first, but as time pass on I actually learned a lot of things.
First, I learned how to blog, and this is the reason why I created my blog. I was lazy to do it, but I liked the idea how you could share your ideas with many other people.
I was able to use audacity(recording device) to record our voice and make it into a story. My story was awesome(not really..). We used power-points to show our story. I never thought we could use power-point to show a story.
I had to make a persuasive presentation in front of my class. It was embarrassing, but I did it with confidence. I was able to present it well to my classmates and I was nervous. In my opinion, this was the worst from all the topics(–;;;).
Finally, my favorite part, we used a photoshop program called GIMP and create a picture of many different people pictures combined. Also, I was able to create a college with my baby pictures, elementary, and middle school pictures.
I had a great time learning with Gimp, and I enjoyed playing with it, because I was able to create or draw something that I imagined and design that. I was able to design word text that had cool effects. It was awesome. You guys should totally try playing with Gimp. I bet you guys can create something awesome and have fun!
Some things I didn’t like were: I had hard time listening to the Gimp tutorials and following them (some of them, the video qualities were so bad that I could not read it.), the computer sometimes didn’t save my work so I had to start over(T^T), and finally, it was hard to follow some tutorials for gimp, sometimes they didn’t explain what to do very well, so I was stressed.
Overall, I love computer class, if your school does not have computer class, too bad for ya 😛
